Canadian Red Cross Emergency Child Care First Aid &
CPR Course
This course includes 2005 First Aid & CPR Guidelines
and meets OHS regulations for Basic First Aid
This course provides an overview of
First Aid & CPR techniques taught in an interactive environment
for individuals who care for infants or children in the workplace
or at home. It covers skills needed to recognize, prevent and respond
to cardiovascular emergencies , CPR Level B, and other topics including
choking, airway and breathing emergencies and prevention of disease
transmission.

Comprehensive First Aid & CPR training
for individuals who need training for child care or early childhood

Fall Protection for the Competent Person
This is a one day course that covers
the following aspects of fall protection: OH&S Regulations, CSA
Standards, MAF (Maximum Arrest Force), hardware familiarization, inspection

Fall Protection for the Competent Worker
This one day course covers many aspects of fall protection.
The course covers the familiarization of
common fall protection equipment such as:

H2S Alive
This is an 8 hour course intended for
workers in the petroleum industry, who may be exposed to environments
where hydrogen sulfide gas (H2S) may be present.
The course covers the physical properties and health hazards of H2S,
how to protect oneself and rescue techniques. Each student will be
required to operate a self-contained breathing apparatus, a gas detector
and perform rescue breathing on a mannequin.

Respirator Fit Testing
Many workers are required to work in
conditions where they are exposed to harmful dusts, fogs, fumes, mists,
gases, smokes, sprays, or vapors.
We provide qualitative respirator fit
tests on a one-on-one basis at our training facility. The fit tests
are performed following the guidelines of CSA Standard Z94.4-02 -
The Selection and Care of Respirators.
A Fit Test Log and Certification of
Completion is received after successfully completing the test procedures
Health screening can also be done.
